Esteban Ocon is hesitant to solidify his Formula 1 plans for 2025 amidst a deteriorating relationship with his current team, Alpine.

As his contract with Alpine approaches its end, he's increasingly being viewed as a potential replacement for Nico Hulkenberg at Haas.

Yet, during his time at Le Mans supporting Alpine's world endurance team, Ocon expressed uncertainty: "In Formula 1, you never know."

Haas has openly acknowledged considering the 27-year-old French driver as a "serious" contender for their lineup in 2025 and beyond.

Ocon, whose career is managed by Mercedes boss Toto Wolff, might be waiting for a better opportunity.

Recently, however, Wolff underscored Mercedes' focus on youth, hinting that 17-year-old Kimi Antonelli is set to be Lewis Hamilton's successor, dimming Ocon's prospects with the team.

"As I said, you never know what will happen in Formula 1," Ocon remarked to Speed Week at Le Mans.

"But I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead."

He also mentioned his commitment to the current season: "I still have 15 races ahead of me this season, and it's important to do a good job and come to the races motivated, as I always have been, and to enjoy what I do."

Ocon also clarified that despite his appearance at Le Mans, he is not contemplating a shift to endurance racing.

"My goal is Formula 1, that's clear," he asserted. "That's where I enjoy being."
