Lotus Renault team boss Eric Boullier has quelled suggestions that Kimi Raikkonen's victory in the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday has placed the team in a position to claim the Formula 1 crown.
Raikkonen, who win the title in 2007, started seventh on the grid, but an impressive performance saw the Finn claim first in the race.
"The only thing that I am focusing on is that we have clearly stated we want to be a top team," Boullier told Autosport.
"Starting the season like this means we will fight with everything for the championship, but it is too early to say anything other than Lotus is a top team now.
"And if every year we are putting ourselves in a situation where we can compete for wins, then you can build up from the nice momentum to maybe be champion again."
Raikkonen finished third in the 2012 season.
