Lewis Hamilton has admitted that he is "satisfied" with his third-place finish at the Malaysian Grand Prix earlier today.
The British driver started the race in Sepang on pole position, but lost ground to eventual winner Fernando Alonso and Sergio Perez.
Despite failing to claim the victory, McLaren's Hamilton has admitted that he is content with his performance.
"It think we can be satisfied," Hamilton told BBC Sport. "Fernando and Sergio drove fantastically today and it was very tough to catch them.
"We would have liked to have more points this weekend but I can't complain as I'm on the podium for the second weekend in a row.
"I was able to stay out of trouble with the conditions. We did a great job."
Hamilton is now second in standings, five points behind Alonso.
