Martin Brundle believes that Lewis Hamilton has four options as to which team he could represent next season.
Hamilton's contract with McLaren is due to expire at the end of the season and despite reports that he had been offered a new deal worth an estimated £100m, the 27-year-old has yet to commit his future to the Woking-based outfit.
With that in mind, the former driver has claimed that the ex-world champion has three other teams that would be keen to capture his services.
"It's contract negotiation time but the question is where could he go? Mercedes-Benz are starting to go very well and he has a strong relationship with them," Brundle told Sky Sports News. "Ferrari [are another option], but would Alonso have him there?
"Red Bull, but would Vettel have Hamilton there - or will Vettel indeed be there given there's talk of him moving to Ferrari?
"He's comfortable at McLaren. Will he fancy a bit of fresh oxygen by going somewhere else? I imagine he's weighing that all up at the moment."
Hamilton joined McLaren in 2007.
