'McLaren or nothing' for Jenson Button

Jenson Button says that he will retire from Formula 1 altogether if he is not kept on by McLaren beyond the current season.

Jenson Button has said that he will quit Formula 1 if he does not stay with McLaren-Honda next season.

McLaren have the option to extend the British driver's contract but are reportedly undecided on whether to retain the 35-year-old for 2016.

Button, who is currently 18th in the F1 driver standings with just six points, admitted that he is not interested in moving to another team even if McLaren choose not to keep him beyond the current season.

"If I am in F1, it will be with this team," he told reporters. "I have had some tough times here but I have a lot of respect for them and for Honda. This is the team for the future."

McLaren are above only Marussia-Ferrari in this season's team rankings ahead of this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix.
