Nico Rosberg has clocked the quickest time in his Mercedes in the second practice session of the Bahrain Grand Prix, while his teammate Lewis Hamilton secured the second-fastest lap.
With the temperatures falling, the teams were able to run race simulations as they will be competing in their first night race of the calendar so far on Sunday.
Hamilton, who is the reigning world champion, and Rosberg had a low-key session this morning, while Ferrari duo Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel topped the timesheets.
In the second practice, it was a different story as Raikkonen finished third and Vettel suffered a braking problem, which led to Force India's Sergio Perez clipping the German's Ferrari and damaging his front wing on the first turn of the track.
Both drivers will be investigated by the stewards office, while Hamilton and Raikkonen will also be looked into after both 'failed to leave the pit lane correctly' after the red-flag period.
McLaren driver Jenson Button also had an interrupted session as he was ordered to stop the car by his team due to an anomaly in the engine data, but the Brit managed to take the car back out onto the track once the problem was fixed.
