Max Verstappen wants Formula 1 greatness

Toro Rosso rookie Max Verstappen aims to break records during his career in Formula 1.

Toro Rosso rookie Max Verstappen has admitted that he is aiming to become of the greatest drivers in Formula 1 history.

The Dutch teenager will become the sport's youngest ever racer when he competes at the Australian Grand Prix next weekend.

Verstappen is already setting his sights high, but will not be looking to copy any other driver's style.

He told The Telegraph: "I want to break other records. I want to break all the records. The records for most victories, for most world titles. That's what matters. I'm not bothered about the age I win. I just want to win the World Championship.

"I never compare myself to someone else, you're always yourself. Everybody has a different style. Mine is Max Verstappen style.

"People have said I'm arrogant? That's their opinion. I don't care about it."
