Graeme McDowell has heaped further praise on playing partner Victor Dubuisson after the pair comfortably saw off the challenge of Rickie Fowler and Jimmy Walker.
The Northern Irishman had called the rookie "the next European star" after Friday's play, and he continued to be impressed by the Frenchman after they recorded a 5&4 win on Saturday.
The 35-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Victor's iron play over the last couple of days, I'm not sure I've seen better iron play consistently. It was stunning. I really can't say enough about the talent he is.
"The captain asked me to be a leader this week and I really wanted to embrace that role. I knew Victor was good but I didn't know he was this good. I've let this guy go. If he wins tomorrow I think you can really say he's arrived on the world stage."
Europe require just four points to retain the Ryder Cup, while another 0.5 is required to win the trophy outright.
