Rickie Fowler has insisted that he is happy to fly under the radar as he prepares to launch his bid for a green jacket at The Masters.
Much of the pre-tournament focus has been on world number one Rory McIlroy and the returning Tiger Woods, and Fowler, who finished in the top five in all four of last year's Majors, is confident that he can challenge his rivals over the next four days at Augusta.
"Obviously being close and being in contention is really all you can ask for," the world number 13 told reporters. "It doesn't happen often where you just run away with a Major or any tournament in particular.
"I don't care if I'm a favourite or not or if the odds are with me or against me.
"I'm going to go out there and try to win myself a Major."
After thriving in the Majors last year, Fowler heads into The Masters with just one top-10 finish from seven starts this season.
