Paul Casey has revealed that he is close to recovering from a shoulder injury and could return in Miami next week.
The British golfer suffered a dislocated shoulder in December but could return to action at the Cadillac Championship next week.
Casey told the European Tour website: "I'm stronger and fitter than I've ever been, even with the shoulder injury, and I've got the mental game that I never used to have."
The 34-year-old has targeted a place in the European Ryder Cup team as one of his main priorities in 2012.
"I want to be part of many more Ryder Cups. For me it provides great memories - the battles you get, the pressure, the stress, the fun away from the course. There are moments I will cherish forever," Casey added.
The English player is currently ranked 25 in the world.
