World number one Rory McIlroy has insisted that his poor form has nothing to do with his new Nike clubs.
The Northern Irishman missed the cut in the Abu Dhabi Championship by four shots, leading to suggestions that he could not come to terms with the new equipment.
However, he told reporters at a press conference: "It is more about how I'm swinging the club. That's the real concern.
"The biggest thing was finding a driver that suited me and I feel like I've got one now that really works. I just need tournament rounds to get that confidence in it."
McIlroy signed a long-term deal with Nike last month.
