Ernie Els has won the BMW International Open in Germany with a one-shot victory over Denmark's Thomas Bjorn.
The 43-year-old South African, who is the oldest player to lift the trophy, carded a third consecutive 69 on Sunday to give him a final score of 18-over-par.
Frenchman Alexander Levy finished one shot behind former champion Bjorn, while home favourite and 2008 winner Martin Kaymer was one of three players on 15-under.
The title is Els's first on the European Tour since last year's triumph at the Open Championship.
