Pablo Larrazabal has joined Miguel Angel Jimenez at the top of the leaderboard at the KLM Open in Zandvoort.
The two-time European Tour winner shot 66 for his second round at Kennemer Golf Club - one better than his compatriot - to get to nine-under-par for the championship.
Meanwhile, the best score of the day came from Simon Dyson, who equalled his own course record of 63 to trail the leaders by one shot.
The 35-year-old from York is joined on eight-under-par by Oliver Fisher and France's Julien Quesne.
However, there was bad news for two other Englishmen - 2011 Portugal Masters champion Tom Lewis and 41-year-old Simon Khan.
Both opened yesterday with 67s, but poor second rounds have seen them fall outside the one-under cut line.
Chris Wood (E), Padraig Harrington (E), Thomas Levet (+2) and Thorbjorn Olesen (+7) will also miss the weekend action in the Netherlands.
