Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has vowed not to give up on retaining the Premier League title until the race is mathematically over.
Roberto Mancini's side are currently 15 points behind rivals Manchester United with only 12 games left in the season.
"The game against Southampton was quite bad and we were losing, but the fans continued to cheer. Their chanting was quite unbelievable," Toure told the club's official website.
"For those guys we would never stop and we will continue to fight. In this sport you never know what will happen in the future. I think 12 games is a long time and we will get a chance."
City take on Chelsea on Sunday and can close the gap to 12 points with a win at the Etihad Stadium.
