Former Arsenal and England defender Sol Campbell has encouraged minorities to vote in the general election by teaming up with campaign Operation Black Vote.
The 40-year-old, who was once rumoured to be intending to stand for the Conservatives, has featured in an advertising campaign carrying the slogan 'if you don't register to vote, you're taking the colour out of Britain'.
Paralympic star Ade Adepitan, musician Tinie Timpah and Homeland actor David Harewood are among those who are encouraging people to register to vote prior to the April 20 deadline.
Operation Black Vote have also put forward a general election manifesto with the hope of 'reclaiming democracy, empowering citizens and fighting race equalities'.
