Bayern Munich offer free beer after 1,000th Bundesliga win

Bayern Munich offer their fans free beer after the club recorded its 1,000th Bundesliga win with a 4-0 victory over FC Koln.

Bayern Munich have promised their fans a free beer after the club secured their 1,000th Bundesliga win with a 4-0 victory at home to FC Koln.

Goals from the returning Arjen Robben, Arturo Vidal, Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller gave the German champions the three points and they are the first club to reach four-figure wins in Bundesliga history.

The Bavaian club promoted the gesture on the big screen at the Alianz Arena and they also celebrated the landmark event with a collage on their Instagram page.

Bayern hold a seven-point lead at the top of the table after wining their first 10 games of the season.
