Frank Lampard has admitted that he was shocked to discover that he has the highest IQ out of all of his Chelsea teammates.
The England international, who is due to release a series of children's books, has revealed that all of the Blues team took the tests following a head injury to captain John Terry.
"We did some tests," Lampard said in an interview on ITV's This Morning. "I think John Terry actually took a bang to the head in a game so the doctor started doing IQ tests so we had a base in case anyone else gets bangs to the head.
"So we all did IQ tests for that, and mine came out the highest. I couldn't believe that I'd managed to do it, I was surprised!"
Lampard, who recently signed a contract extension at Stamford Bridge, will play under manager Jose Mourinho next season for the second time in his career.
