England youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has admitted that his strike against Brazil arrived in a blur following his side's 2-2 draw at the Maracana Stadium.
Chamberlain scored an equaliser just minutes after coming on for Roy Hodgson's men, hitting a powerful strike into the bottom corner from 20 yards.
The Arsenal winger has conceded in his post-match interview that he remembers little about the goal, which was created by neat passing between Frank Lampard and Wayne Rooney.
He told ITV Sport: "I can't really remember it (the goal) to be completely honest.
"Lampard flicked it on, I got it back off Rooney and just hit it. I'm just glad I could make a contribution.
"We wanted to close the game out so we are disappointed we didn't but we showed great passion and fight, Brazil are a great side but we kept our shape."
Rooney scored shortly after Chamberlain to put England ahead, but a swift equaliser from Paulinho earned Luiz Felipe Scolari's side a draw in the showpiece friendly.
