Football Association chairman Greg Dyke has reportedly returned a £16,000 watch to FIFA following a six-month legal dispute.
Dyke was one of 65 officials who received a gift bag, which included the watch, from the Brazilian Football Federation ahead of last summer's World Cup.
The gesture was deemed in breach of ethics rules by the world governing body and all recipients were ordered to return the watches by the end of October last year.
At the time, Dyke refused as he was unaware of the value of the watch and intended to auction it off for charity Breast Cancer Care, but according to Sky Sports News, the Football Association chief has now returned the timepiece.
The 67-year-old was in danger of being fined or issued with a possible ban if he failed to hand it back, but it is believed that no further action will be taken and the FA chairman will make a personal donation to the cancer charity.
