England captain Steven Gerrard 'cracks a tooth while eating dinner'

Steven Gerrard claims that he cracked a tooth while eating dinner with his England teammates in Brazil.

England captain Steven Gerrard has claimed that he cracked one of his teeth while eating dinner with his teammates at their World Cup base in Brazil.

The Three Lions are currently preparing for Saturday's opening Group D clash against Italy in Manuas.

Gerrard, who launched his personal Instagram account during England's pre-tournament preparations in Miami, has revealed that he injured his tooth while eating some chicken.

While there is a chance that the Liverpool star could be joking, the midfielder opted to point the finger at England's chef Tim De'Ath by writing on the picture-sharing website: "Cracked a tooth on a breast of chicken tonight cheers Tim #headchef."
