The wife of England captain Steven Gerrard has claimed that she might go against her husband's initial wishes by travelling to Brazil for this summer's World Cup.
The Liverpool midfielder recently revealed that his partner Alex and their three daughters Lilly-Ella, Lexie and Lourdes will not be joining him in South America.
However, 31-year-old Alex has claimed that she may fly out to Brazil should the Three Lions progress to the knockout rounds of the tournament.
"I'm not going at the moment, but if it gets to the late stages I'll definitely go then," Alex told Hello! magazine.
"It's hard because Lilly and Lexie will be in school and also the country's so big there can be seven-hour flights to get to some of the games so it wouldn't be fair to drag them around really."
Meanwhile, Gerrard is just four wins away from lifting the Premier League trophy for Liverpool following Sunday's 3-2 victory over Manchester City at Anfield.
