Referee Mark Clattenburg gets Champions League, Euro 2016 tattoos

English referee Mark Clattenburg gets tattoos to mark the Champions League and Euro 2016 finals that he officiated.

English referee Mark Clattenburg has marked his career highlights by getting tattoos of the Euro 2016 logo and Champions League trophy inked onto his arm.

The 41-year-old officiated Real Madrid's victory over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final in Milan.

Less than two months later, Clattenburg took charge of Portugal's surprise 1-0 win over France in the final of the European Championships in Paris.

To mark the events, the Durham-born referee made a visit to Mick Mahon tattoo parlour in Spain.

On Facebook, Clattenburg's inkings were revealed, alongside a caption which read: "It's not every Sunday you get to tattoo the World's top football referee... Mark Clattenburg back for more!"
