The England international helped keep the Merseyside outfit's race for a Champions League spot alive by playing a role in Sunday's 3-1 win.

After the game, the 29-year-old, who was dressed in his Everton tracksuit, was spotted buying some treats from an ice cream van parked outside Craven Cottage.

The full-back is then said to have headed onto the team bus ahead of the squad's trip back to Merseyside.
