Everton have pledged to donate £200,000 to help fund treatment for a young Sunderland fan who is battling cancer.
Five-year-old Bradley Lowery was the lead mascot for the Black Cats in last night's 3-0 defeat to Everton at the Stadium of Light.
The youngster, who suffers from neuroblastoma, needs £700,000 to undergo treatment in the United States, and his family have so far raised just over £500,000 through an online page.
Everton confirmed their sizeable donation last night in a statement, which read: "We wish Bradley every success and he has the love and support of every Evertonian.
"The club will also be inviting Bradley and his family to the return game at Goodison Park and the players' signed shirts from [Monday's] game will be auctioned off to support the fund."
Fans of both clubs gave Bradley a round of applause during last night's match.
