Hull City midfielder David Meyler has reportedly been fined £2,000 for driving while disqualified.

The 24-year-old is said to have been stopped by police while driving a Range Rover along Chanterlands Avenue on September 22 last year.

According to the Hull Daily Mail, Meyler admitted the offence at Hull Magistrates' Court and was ordered to pay the fine as well as take six points on his licence.

Meyler, who was headbutted by Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew during Hull's 4-1 defeat earlier this month, received a six-month driving ban last year.
