Lincoln City manager Gary Simpson was forced to use jelly babies to mastermind his side's victory over Barnet when the team bus did not show up.
The Imps had to make their own way to London for their Conference Premier match and were unable to fit their tactics board inside their rearranged transport.
Instead, Simpson used a packet of the popular sweets on one of the changing room's kit lockers to demonstrate their apparent 4-2-4 formation which helped them to a 2-1 win over the league leaders.
Striker Ben Tomlinson took a photo behind Simpson's shoulder and tweeted "Funny tactics board".
