Former Manchester United captain Eric Cantona has continued his career as an actor by starring in new French film De Force.
The 46-year-old plays a prisoner called Manuel Makarov, who is broken out of jail by policewoman Clara as she tries to enlist his help in an investigation.
The retired midfielder also dabbled in stage acting when he appeared in a play called Face au paradis, which was directed by his wife Rachida Brakni.
The Frenchman also appeared in British film Looking for Eric, which focused on the life of the main male character, who had hallucinations about the Cantona when trying to make life decisions.
