Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal recently admitted that he did not know of Angel di Maria's whereabouts, and that appears to have caused fans to print out 'missing' posters.
Alan Brazil, who works as a radio host for talkSPORT, tweeted this week that the tongue-in-cheek posters have been appearing around Manchester.
The Argentine is expected to be on the verge of signing for Paris Saint-Germain in a £44m deal, but the 27-year-old failed to turn up to the Red Devils' base in the United States for their pre-season tour last week.
The message on the poster read: "Angel di Maria is a footballer who currently plays for Manchester United. His manager is very concerned after confirming he 'did not know' the whereabouts of the Argentinian international. He has a distinctive, rodent-esque face and could possibly be somewhere in France."
The poster added that a reward of £30m will be handed out if the footballer is found.
