Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has claimed that Manchester United have done the best transfer business this summer.
The Red Devils have been busy in the window so far, signing Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin, and Keown insists that they now have a much stronger team.
He told the Daily Mail: "It's so difficult to tell until we're a fair way into the season, but at the moment I'd have to say Manchester United. They've bought a lot of big names, but look how Angel di Maria turned out last season.
"I think Morgan Schneiderlin is a really good signing. He's good in and out of possession, and he understands the Premier League. He also played well when Southampton won at Old Trafford last season.
"There were times last season when United struggled to control games, and this was largely down to their midfield. They missed Michael Carrick when he was injured, but now they'll have him back along with Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger. I think what they need now is a centre forward. But we could see many teams going in for a striker at the end of the transfer window."
United have spent £76.1m so far.
