Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was allegedly struck by a pound coin during his team's derby showdown with Manchester City on Saturday evening.
During the match at the Etihad Stadium, United overturned a two-goal half-time deficit to record a famous 3-2 win, and Mourinho kept celebrations to a minimum at the full-time whistle.
According to the Daily Star, Mourinho also made the decision to play down being struck by a coin shortly after the game had entered added-on time.
Instead, the Portuguese opted to hand the coin to a Man City ball boy, saying that "every pound can help you become a millionaire".
United have closed the gap on leaders City in the Premier League table to 13 points, but Pep Guardiola's team could potentially win the title at the weekend if United fail to defeat West Bromwich Albion.
