Manchester United celebrate Christmas party 51 days early

Manchester United celebrate their annual Christmas party 51 days early due to the club's hectic festive schedule.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal and the team celebrated their Christmas party 51 days before the festive day.

Van Gaal is believed to have wanted the bash pushed forward due to the club's busy Premier League schedule over the Christmas period.

The first team, including Wayne Rooney, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Anthony Martial and Daley Blind and their partners, were hosted at The Place Aparthotel in Manchester city centre.

According to The Mirror, some of the players arrived in limousines before partying in the hotel's nightclub until around 1am.

Van Gaal, who was joined by wife Truus, stayed for the duration of the party, which included bands and fire breathers.
