Manchester United players nickname manager Louis van Gaal 'Daisy'

Manchester United's players reportedly give Louis van Gaal the nickname 'Daisy' because of his slow driving.

Manchester United's players have reportedly begun calling manager Louis van Gaal 'Daisy' in a dig about his slow driving.

The Dutchman's nickname, which comes from the film Driving Miss Daisy, is believed to be in reference to his over-cautiousness behind the wheel.

According to The Sun, the players thought up the nickname because Van Gaal opts for a slow driving pace as he is worried about encountering ditches and pot holes around Carrington.

On the pitch, United are fourth in the Premier League table after 12 games.
