Real Madrid directors have reportedly advised new head coach Rafael Benitez to lose weight.
The Spaniard was appointed as Carlo Ancelotti's replacement earlier this month following a two-year spell at Napoli.
During stints as manager of Liverpool and Chelsea, the 55-year-old was occasionally mocked for his weight, and Real president Florentino Perez is believed to be concerned that he may face the same taunts in Spain, according to AS.
Benitez has history with the club as he took charge of Real's B team for two years at the start of his coaching career.
