Video: Cristiano Ronaldo 'snubs Michel Platini' following Real Madrid victory

Cristiano Ronaldo appears to avoid shaking hands with UEFA president Michel Platini after taking offence to comments the Frenchman made earlier this year.

A clip has emerged of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo appearing to snub UEFA president Michel Platini while receiving his winners' medal during Saturday's Club World Cup final presentation.

The 59-year-old claimed earlier this year that football's top individual accolade, the Ballon d'Or, should be awarded to a German player following the nation's success at the World Cup.

In response, the Spanish giants released a statement criticising Platini's comments, and it seems as though Ronaldo has yet to fully forgive the Frenchman if the below video is anything to go by.

Los Blancos beat San Lorenzo 2-0 in Marrakech to lift their fourth major trophy of the year.

On a personal level, Ronaldo has scored 34 goals in 27 appearances for club and country so far this season.
