The official logo for the 2018 World Cup in Russia has been unveiled by FIFA president Sepp Blatter and three local astronauts.
Blatter told a Russian state TV talk show last night that the logo, which incorporates the country's flag colours of red and blue, will represent the nation's "heart and spirit".
A piece of paper displaying the logo was unveiled via video link by a crew of Russian astronauts on the International Space Station.
FIFA TV have released a video of last night's light show, which was beamed onto Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre to mark the official release of the logo.
