Frankie Dettori has been temporarily suspended from racing in France by governing body France Gallop.
The decision has been taken after the Italian jockey tested positive for a banned substance while competing at Longchamp in September of this year.
France Gallop revealed yesterday that they had reached a decision on whether or not to proceed with the case against the 41-year-old. However, they refused to disclose their verdict.
If found guilty, Dettori is likely to be permanently banned from competing in France and potentially across the whole world.
