Grant Millington ruled out for six weeks

Grant Millington admits that facing six weeks on the sidelines, which will see him miss Castleford Tigers' Challenge Cup final encounter, is "pretty hard to take".

Castleford Tigers forward Grant Millington is expected to miss the next six weeks through injury.

The 27-year-old, who has been a key player for the Tigers this season, damaged his knee in last Thursday's 18-18 draw against Hull FC and will now miss next Sunday's Challenge Cup final.

"Obviously I'm really disappointed with the injury," Millington told the Pontefract and Castleford Express. "It's always frustrating to have any time out from playing but to be told I will miss the biggest game of the year so far in the Challenge Cup semi-final was pretty hard to take.

"I'll be working hard with the medical staff and doing everything that I can over the next few weeks to get back on the playing field as quickly as possible."

Castleford are currently fourth in the Super League table.
