England winger Ryan Hall has insisted that he will not be resting upon his laurels when he features for his nation against Australia in the Rugby League World Cup on Saturday.
Steve McNamara's side will open their campaign against the Kangaroos at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, with many expecting the 25-year-old to repeat his performance from Wembley two years ago when he scored two tries in the Four Nations Series.
"A lot of people have mentioned the tries I scored in 2011 at Wembley," he said at an England media session at Loughborough University.
"Obviously that was a great stepping stone in my life. It kind of set the ball rolling for a lot of things happened quickly after that with my profile being lifted.
"So obviously there are fond memories from a personal aspect but the objective was to win the game and obviously we didn't do that. Hopefully there is no better stage to put that right this year."
England will set up their camp in Cardiff on Thursday.
