Salford Red Devils have eased their relegation fears in the Super League with a 48-16 win at home to fellow strugglers Bradford Bulls.
The hosts were dominant inside the opening 15 minutes as Rangi Chase converted his own try after adding the extras to scores from Logan Tomkins, Junior Sau and Andrew Dixon.
Luke Gale then kicked between the posts following an Elliot Kear try to get the Bulls on the scoreboard before Chase was successful with the boot again after Sau had touched down for the second time.
However, Bradford had the final say of the first half as Gale converted Tom Olbison's score to make it 34-12 to Salford at the break.
Both teams struggled to make the breakthrough during the second half before Gale kicked over replacement Adam O'Brien's try for Bradford on the hour.
Despite the visitors showing some fight during the second period, Salford made sure of the victory in the final 20 minutes as Chase converted tries from Francis Meli and Niall Evalds.
