Dean Collis has agreed a contract extension that will keep him with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats until the end of the 2016 Super League season.
The Australian centre first joined the side in 2011, moving to the club from NRL side Cronulla.
The 27-year-old told BBC Radio Leeds: "I've really enjoyed my time at Wakefield for the last two years so I wanted to get my future properly sorted out. There's a really good culture at the club and I want to stay part of it.
"This year I've been injury-free and my form's been pretty decent, and as a club we've taken a step in the right direction in recent weeks."
Collis has scored 11 tries for Wakefield so far this season.
