The two sides headed into the break level with 12 points apiece.

Frankie Mariano and Steve Southern scored tries for the home side, which were converted by Paul Sykes, while Ryan Atkins and Chris Riley went over for Warrington.

Brett Hodgson converted both goals for the Wolves to ensure parity was restored.

After the restart the Wolves took the game away from their hosts as Atkins ran in two further tries, while Stefan Ratchford contributed a brace.

There was also time for Riley to touch down for his second try of the game.

Hodgson's good form with the boot continued as he scored seven goals in total.
