London Wasps academy winger Christian Wade will make his debut for England this weekend after being included in Stuart Lancaster's squad for Sunday's clash against the Barbarians.
The 20-year-old, who was part of the England Under-20s side for the IRB Junior World Championship in 2010, will line up at Twickenham for the friendly ahead of England's tour of South Africa.
Northampton Saints number eight Phil Dowson, who can also play as flanker, will take the captaincy from Test skipper Chris Robshaw, who is featuring for Leicester Tigers on Saturday in the Aviva Premiership final against Harlequins.
Ben Foden, Chris Ashton, Owen Farrell and Charlie Hodgson have also been included in the starting team.
