Harlequins edge out Gloucester in frantic finish

Harlequins edge out Gloucester Rugby with two tries inside the final 10 minutes in the Aviva Premiership.

A thrilling end to the second half saw Harlequins edge out Gloucester Rugby 29-26 in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon to go five points clear of Saturday's visitors in eighth in the table.

There were three tries inside the final 10 minutes with Dan Robson going over the line for the visiting Gloucester.

However, Marland Yarde and Ollie Lindsay-Hague had landed tries for Quins moments earlier to give the home side the lead that was enough to seal the win.

Charlie Walker had got the match off to a good start for the home side with a try on 10 minutes before James Cook responded just after the half-hour mark.

Greig Laidlaw was impressive with his kicking as he converted three penalties and a conversion for Gloucester, but it was Nick Evans's four penalties that ultimately proved decisive for Quins.
