Wasps head coach Dai Young has hailed the performance of "outstanding" James Haskell during his side's European Rugby Champions Cup victory over Harlequins.
The 29-year-old skipper led a spirited defensive effort as Waspies claimed a 23-3 win at the Stoop to set up a winner-takes-all encounter with Leinster next weekend.
Having taken a 17-0 lead thanks to tries from Christian Wade and Joe Simpson inside the opening 20 minutes, the visitors had to keep out their opponents when Nathan Hughes was sent to the sin bin.
Young heaped praise on Haskell after the match, telling reporters: "I thought he was outstanding. I don't think he's had a bad game for us for a while.
"He probably covered every blade of grass and his tackle count must have been right up there. I don't think there was a bad performance from any of our players out there tonight.
"We didn't have the ball for large periods of the game and we didn't have enough possession in the right areas but our defence won us that game. Our shape, as always, was pretty decent against a very good attacking team."
Wasps are currently second in Pool Two going into the final round of fixtures, sitting two points behind leaders Leinster and three ahead of Harlequins.
