Wales captain Sam Warburton believes that Warren Gatland deserves to lead the British and Irish Lions in their 2013 tour of Australia.
Gatland coached Wales to a Six Nations Grand Slam as well as leading them to the World Cup semi-final in his native New Zealand.
"He's a fantastic coach and, if you look at his record, I think he probably deserves to be the Lions coach," said the 23-year-old.
"He's won two Grand Slams, he's taken Wales to the semi-final of a World Cup and he's got the best out of the boys he's got in the squad.
"I haven't been exposed to many coaches but, from what I've seen with Warren, I absolutely love working with him and the other coaches."
The 48-year-old was a part of Sir Ian McGeechan's coaching staff during the Lions' 2009 tour of South Africa.
