Snooker star Ali Carter has revealed that "further investigation" is needed following an operation for testicular cancer.
The 33-year-old was diagnosed with the disease last week and underwent an operation the following day.
Carter wrote on Twitter: "Further investigation is required. Seeing oncologist friday now to talk through treatment options. So not out the woods yet!
"But staying positive and a big Thank-you to all my friends and followers for your continued support!"
The cancer scare has come after Carter was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2003.
