Ronnie O'Sullivan has pulled out of the China Open due to "health problems".

O'Sullivan was due to play either Robin Hull or Yan Bingtao on Tuesday after beating Luca Brecel 5-1 in the qualifying round.

"Unfortunately, health problems forced Ronnie to withdraw before the television stage," said a statement on the player's official website.

The China Open begins on Monday and is the final event before the World Championships at the Crucible in Sheffield.
