Great Britain's James Guy is on course to add a second medal to his cabinet after finishing first in his 200m freestyle heat to reach the semi-finals at the World Championships in Kazan.
The 19-year-old, who won silver in the 400m freestyle on Sunday, impressed with a time of 1:46.10 in heat six.
The Brit steadied himself by moving into third after the first 100m before picking up the pace in the final 50m to touch the wall first, while his compatriot Calum Jarvis finished his heat second in 1:46.61.
Guy will head into the semi-final showdown second-fastest to China's Sun Yang, who pipped the Brit to gold in the 400m race last night.
In heat seven, South Africa's Chad le Clos led the way until the final stretch when Australia's Cameron McEvoy came from behind to touch the wall first in 1:46.39.
Le Clos claimed fourth place, while five-time Olympic gold medallist Ryan Lochte of the USA took fifth in the heat and qualified 13th fastest.
