Team England's Joanna Drinkhall and Kelly Sibley lose their bronze-medal showdown against Canada in the women's table tennis doubles at the Commonwealth Games.

Team England's Joanna Drinkhall and Kelly Sibley have lost their bronze-medal match in the women's doubles at the Commonwealth Games.

The pair lost to Canada's Anqi Luo and Mo Zhang in a five-set thriller at the Scotstoun Campus despite taking a 2-0 lead.

Drinkhall and Sibley dominated the early stages taking the first two sets 11-6 and 12-10, but the Canadians battled back to level the scores in game three and four with 11-8 and 14-12 victories.

The match finished in a tight contest, but Luo and Zhang did just enough to edge out the English duo with a 12-10 win which earned them the bronze medal.
