England win table tennis mixed doubles bronze to continue domination

Kelly Sibley and Danny Reed win bronze for England in the table tennis mixed doubles competition to ensure a clean sweep of the medals.

England have guaranteed themselves a clean sweep of table tennis medals in the mixed doubles after Kelly Sibley and Danny Reed won bronze against Singapore.

The pair came out on top 3-1 at the Scotstoun arena ahead of this afternoon's all-England final in the event.

Sibley and Reed had to battle back from a game behind after Singapore's Zhan Jian and Feng Tianwei won the opener 11-4.

However, England took the next three games 11-9 11-7 12-10 to spark joyous scenes and ensure that it was be a 1-2-3 of medals in the mixed doubles.
